Synopsis

Sportive D'Amour is both a love story and a training programme from which we could all learn.


Meet: Sophie, Mark and Barry, two protagonists and an antagonist - you'll figure out who's who. Our three cyclists all live a fictitious town called Wonton, it's a large town, roughly the size of a small city, it could be Winchester or Salisbury, but there's no Cathedral involved.

Wonton's largest employer is the 'Won-Ton Soup' Chinese food factory, of which the forward-thinking owner has offered to sponsor Wonton's first ever Cycle Sportive 'The Wonton Destruction' in September.

As the months unfold towards autumn, you can follow Sophie, Mark and Barry as they ebb and flow through life and training methods. Feel the pain as they'll get dropped on club rides - and in love.


Sophie, Mark and Barry each have an intriguing story to tell. You might know these people, you'll certainly recognise the type, cyclists all - they're each and everyone of us.
